This model year struck up the swansong for Dodge’ Super Bee, but it still remained popular with buyers looking for high performance at a reasonable cost. The Super Bee was now built on the Charger platform, and lest you think big engines had fallen by the wayside by ‘71, the car came standard with a 383 cid. Magnum V-8 that still put out the power of 300 ponies. Additional features off the line included a three-speed floor shifter, a black power bulge hood, Charger 500 interior and tape stripes and “Super Bee” decals.
